Ginny Corbett is my sistah.
This post would not happen if it weren’t for her. I have a short list of power inspiration people and she is definitely on it!
The RENEW Workshop has changed my life. I have gone the last two years in Dallas and both times I have learned so many valuable business & photography techniques. Check out the official RENEW website for more info and reviews. CLICK HERE
Here they are folks – the fabulous models, divas, and rockstars of RENEW 2012. (RENEW sisters, did any of y’all capture a shot or two of me in action? If so, could you possibly send some love my direction. ‘preciate ya! :))
To start off the workshop, I can’t think of anything better than finding a super cool welcome gift bag with chapstick, a notebook, and awesome reminders to place in my workspace.
This chica is way cool…and stylin’! You should SO follow her on IG: @jadepierce.
I finally have the ExpoDisc (which is unbelievably amazing)…but I am now hopeful for another treasure – a Kelly Moore boy bag. Shoot. Ginny Corbett. You were lookin’ mighty fine. π
Shout out to Teddi! I so much enjoyed getting to know you. I can’t wait to see more of your work pop up on the world wide web. You are amazing!!
Debbie…without sounding like a creeper, I have several photos of you posing the lovebirds. You did an amazing job guiding them into the pose you were envisioning. (I think I even saw you climbing over logs and doing something that resembled a yoga pose to get the perfect shot. You are a working machine! Keep up the high-octane work!)
*insert Nat King Cole love song*
One word: gorgeous. These two are lovely inside and out! Smiles, laughs, thoughtful glances, and a whole lot of fun. Sounds like my kind of afternoon.
Sometimes you just have to whisper something extra special π to get that perfect reaction.
Ow, ow,Β ow! π
My all-time favorite photog work is with couples who are madly in love with each other. But don’t think I can’t find joy elsewhere. I really enjoy working with the kiddos and their parents, too. There is something really amazing about capturing the innocence and adventurous nature of a child. This shoot was no exception.
(Side note: I’m a HUGE shoe fan. Good fashion sense often results in great photoshoot material. Just sayin’.)
I took one more diversion with the lovely couple. These two were brave souls venturing out into the Texas swamp. No alligators here. Just mud. And fallen tree branches. And wicked cool shades.
I’m so very, very glad you came back to Big D, Ginny! Please come back soon.
Your next visit will include that reunion dance party we discussed on FB the other day, right?
oh my that shot of moi. π
