Life comes at you fast. It hit me like a ton of bricks. — Both describe the way I feel right now. All happening within a 24 hour period. I am not going to use this as an opportunity to complain, because I know I am not experiencing half of the difficulties some people are undergoing at this moment. But I would like to use this as an opportunity to vent/get it out of my system/etc. I would also like to realign my focus. Something to ponder…

With the Thanksgiving holiday coming up, I thought it would be appropriate to post this prayer from The Valley of Vision. I can honestly say, to my shame, that I don’t thank God enough in my prayers. The definition of consecrate is to be set apart, sanctified; elsewhere, it is the devoting or setting apart of anything to the worship or service of God.
