1. Resolved, That I will do whatsoever I think to be most to the glory of God, and my own good, profit, and pleasure, in the whole of my duration; without any consideration of the time, whether now, or never so many myriads of ages hence. God is good. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. James 1:17 Every good thing I have experienced or been given is from Him – by His grace, paid for by the death, burial, and resurrection of His precious Son, Jesus Christ. Surrender

I have been reminded recently of the need to let go of my own desires and pursuits. I am here to do the will of Christ, not my own. My salvation was accomplished by His atonement. He purchased me with His precious blood. I am no longer my own. I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
