every day should be Father’s Day

As important as it is to honor our earthly fathers, how often do I honor my Heavenly Father? Just a quick thought: The same God who created the universe with a word, opened up the earth to swallow rebels, visited His people in a temple built with human hands, and sent His own Son to be the propitiation for my sins – this God called me to be His child through adoption. Mirror of Love

Love is patient. Love is kind. Love God. Love people…ALL people. Love selflessly. Love sacrificially. Love unconditionally. ~ What about this one – love genuinely?? ~ I feel my own heart convicted on this matter, hence the post on a blog that is titled beholding HIS glory. ~ I have always been fascinated with mirrors. melting pot: numero uno

I decided to combine several thoughts into this one post…. I am currently enrolled in a professional photography course from New York Institute of Photography (NYIP). I am very excited to grow my photographic abilities. It is an at-home, at-one’s-own-pace course. There is a photo project I send in at the end of each unit of material. Hopefully I will become a better photographer. I’m not sure whether this is the path I want to take for a career, but I am definitely planning on doing some freelance work. 3rd time’s the charm…?

I have been set free from the needle today. An immunization needle, mind you. (Just wanted to clarify that one!) 😉 I received my last vaccination for the trip to China. We still have not heard any news on the referral or travel. This is just the completion of another preliminary step in the adoption process. Incidentally, I would ask that you please pray for my family as we continue to wait…and wait…and…well, you get the idea! Patience is a hard virtue to put into practice.
