“If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15 NASB)
There’s no grey area here. You’re either serving a god of your own making (like the plethora offered by the anything-but-God culture) or you’re loving and obeying the one true God. Who will you serve?
This round of the 30 Days of Bible Lettering challenge was filled with verses that describe attributes of the triune Godhead. Who is God? Why should we worship Him? God is:
- Magnificent
- Merciful and gracious
- Powerful and mighty
- Our Healer
- The perfect source of peace
- Omniscient
- Creator and Savior
- Faithful and omnipresent
- Victorious
- Provider
- The source of joy
- Our shield
- Omnipotent
- Life
- Love
- Personal
- Our refuge and strength
Worship the Lord with gladness. Make it your mission to serve Him with your whole life. Lead by example and give your household a clear reason to obey the one true God and love the people He brings your way.
