“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.” (Isaiah 43:2 ESV)
Water is a destructive force. And deep water is dark, scary, and dangerous. (And sometimes there are sharks. The worst! Stay outta their house.) The verse says “when you pass through waters,” not “if.” But God. He will be with you! What a comfort!
God is faithful and will never abandon you. Rejoice in this truth today. And when you find yourself drowning, call out to Him.
