Life is short. I’ve been increasingly reminded of this reality over the last decade. People say things like “make the most of your time.” I’ll add another piece. Life is too short to not tell your family and friends three of the most powerful words on the planet: I love you.

16. Life Is Short.

Car wrecks. Cancer. Terrorism.

When was the last time you told the ones you cared about that you loved them? Do you understand the brevity of your life? 80 years might seem like a long time, but not all are blessed with long life.

Life is filled with many good things. But it also has its share of pain, suffering, fear, evil, and death. How will you practically care for your relationships?

Tomorrow isn’t promised. Don’t save for later what you can and should do today.
