Today’s Good Mood Is Sponsored by Coffee

You laugh, but let’s be real. Sweet nectar from God. Bean juice. Dirty water. Everyone is entitled to his own opinion. Coffee, for me, is a necessity. What first started as a pre-adolescent treat slowly became part of my daily routine. Some may call it addiction; I call it a gift. Do I need coffee? No…yes…whatever. Top me off. Warm it up a little.

14. Today’s Good Mood Is Sponsored by Coffee.

My love for coffee started at the young age of 7ish. Don’t blame my parents. I was persistent. And no, I didn’t go for the hard stuff đŸ˜‰ (BLACK coffee) until college years, for obvious reasons. It was basically liquid dessert—a little coffee with my cream.

Gloria Jean’s.

I can remember it like it was yesterday.

The free sample sign spoke to my soul. The sign might have even displayed my name in neat handwritten chalk script. (Maybe that’s just my overactive hindsight imagination.)

Speed ahead to post-college years, friends, and Gilmore Girls marathons. Lorelai & Rory speak my love language of coffee.

Mondays? đŸ˜’

All days that end in y:

Coffee helps with mood swings:

Wouldn’t this be convenient:

EVERY. DAY.

See what I mean?

Also, I’m not a violent person, but Yoda has a point:

Here are some priceless quotes I found on the #internetwebs:

“Science may never come up with a better office communication system than the coffee break.” (Earl Wilson)

“We want to do a lot of stuff; we’re not in great shape. We didn’t get a good night’s sleep. We’re a little depressed. Coffee solves all these problems in one delightful little cup.” (Jerry Seinfeld)

“If it wasn’t for the coffee, I’d have no identifiable personality whatsover.” (David Letterman)

I love a good cup of coffee. Drip, pour over, French press, cappuccino. You name it.

I have my favorite spots. And I’m always open to suggestions of places to try.

I’m not all fancy or anything with espresso art, but I can make a good cup using more than a drip or Keurig. Latte art may have to slide onto my bucket list under the category of “Education: Playing with Food and Drink.” Time will tell.

Is coffee your friend? Where do you go for your favorite cup? Any tips on latte art?
