Drew + Stephanie

Photographing friends is so much fun! I enjoy being around newly engaged couples. Love is in the air!

I’ve known Drew for several years now. He has basically been my long lost big brother. (At this time I would like to say, “I am not for sale.” My minion contract expires when I do.) Stephanie started attending our church a few years ago and has been a great friend. 🙂

The night before our shoot we ended up at the same party. We discussed last minute details over a game of Loaded Questions. (Great icebreaker…and a good way to find out the deep, dark secrets of the people you call your friends. Muahaha!) One detail we discussed was outfit ideas. As you will soon see, they did a great job of complementing each other. It was a little difficult planning what to wear, since the weather was supposed to be COLD. It turned out to be a nice “spring” day, so we ditched the coats. I offered several prayers of thanks throughout the day for this!

I’ve noticed that a lot of people who claim something like, “I’m not good at getting my picture taken,” are just being modest. These two are straight up photogenic! After some silly warm-up shots, Drew and Stephanie morphed into professional model mode.

Before I release you into the menagerie of photos below, I leave you with a few words to describe Drew and Stephanie: fun to be around; great laughs and smiles; totally in love with each other!

Drew and Stephanie, I thoroughly enjoyed being your paparazzo (& minion) for this celebration of your engagement.

The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
Numbers 6:24-26

  1. Not bad Minion, not bad at all! People should hire you, and give you money, and jobs, and success, and ….yeah…that’s about it. Huzzah!
