mike’s foodie adventures, part 1

SMOKE

I think the reviewer at yelp.com got it right:

“laid back Urban Outfitters style [meets] trendy Dallas cuisine.”

Upscale BBQ.

Delicious. Smokey. Juicy.

I had to try the EB&D Loaded Up & Truckin’ Burger. AMAZING!

The egg fritter was crunchy on the outside and runny on the inside. Perfection.

The fries had a savory BBQ seasoning. A great match for the burger.

I cannot wait to go back! This is a definite must-try for local Dallas foodies.

The party I dined with chose the following (thank you for sharing!):

  • SMALL:
    • 100 Mile Cheese Plate
    • Spicy Arugula
    • Heirloom Tomato & Radish Salad
  • SMOKE CHARCUTERIE:
    • Pork Jowl Bacon
  • MEAT:
    • Smoked Berkshire Pork Chop
    • Texas BBQ Beef Coffee Cured Beef Brisket
    • Hanger Steak
  • SWEET:
    • Donnie Wayne’s
    • Blue Berry Buckle
